Virtual same-day advising

Virtual same-day advising is essentially a virtual walk-in academic advising appointment. It can only be utilized by CISA students with certain majors and campus pairings, who have previously met with a CISA academic advisor.

New CISA students and ASU students who have recently changed to a CISA major must schedule an academic advising appointment. 

To begin, review the list of major and campus pairings eligible for virtual same-day advising and confirm that your major and campus pairing is on the list. Available dates and times are listed on the calendar and reflect an Arizona time zone. Then, follow the virtual same-day advising Zoom access instructions. Students will be assisted by an academic advisor in the order they log in to the Zoom session.

• Log in to Zoom using your ASU email address
• Zoom ID: 83348205610
• You will be placed in the waiting room upon accessing the Zoom link. Advising is first come, first served, so you will remain in the Zoom waiting room until it is your turn to meet with an advisor
• Please note that depending on student volume, wait times may be long.  We will admit our last student to meet with an advisor 15 minutes prior to the end of the session, so if you are still waiting at this time, you will need to leave the meeting
• Once admitted to the Zoom room, be ready to provide your 10-digit ASU ID number and be logged into your My ASU page
• If you do not “show up/answer” within 2 minutes of being admitted to the Zoom room, you will be placed back in the waiting room
