Emerging Professionals

Join a cohort of students where you can shape your professional skills and plan for career opportunities.

Develop your professional skills for your internship search

Participants in the CISA Emerging Professionals program are matched with a faculty mentor, attend monthly professional development workshops and activities and have opportunities to develop career application materials. Some of the topics covered in this program are:

  • Resume writing
  • LinkedIn
  • Interviewing skills
  • Developing your own opportunities
  • How to find internships, how to get credit for internships
  • Imposter syndrome
  • Career panels
  • Career fair preparation

Rising sophomores and juniors are invited to sign up for the next academic year's program in late spring and early summer.
