Seniors

Natalie Alexander

Major: Applied Biological Sciences

Ambassador since: January 2019

What I’ve loved about being an ambassador:

Organizing a food drive that directly benefited our local community. To see so many students want to participate in the service project was an amazing feeling, and I was proud to be an ASU student.

Future plans:

After completing the 4+1 program in Applied Biological Sciences, I plan to apply to the CDC to work in an infectious disease lab. Right now I’m working in two research labs at ASU, which has been an amazing experience. I would love to continue working on research.

Ariana Morales

Major: Communication

Ambassador since: September 2020

Experience: I have a few different interests, so in my time here at ASU I have had the pleasure of being a part of some really amazing clubs and organizations: The Underground Foundation, Collegiate DECA, and the Business of Fashion Club, to name a few.

Future plans:

I have a passion for writing, so I hope to use my communication degree to work as a columnist. I currently have my eye on writing for The Boston Globe.

Rida Zaidi

Major: Applied Biological Sciences with a minor in Medical Studies

Ambassador since: September 2020

Experience:

Interned with a pediatric cardiologist in summer 2019; shadowed a podiatrist at his practice during summer 2020. I’m currently a research assistant in Dr. Charbonneau's ant lab at Tempe campus. As a last-semester senior, I’m currently studying for the MCAT and putting my med school application together. I have experience and done research on what med schools want to see on your application—especially in regards to volunteering, interning and work experiences. If you would like assistance in these areas and would like to know where to get started to build your extracurricular activities, I'd love to help!

Future plans:

Work at a research program (All of Us) at the University of Arizona, get involved in more volunteering experiences, ace the MCAT and apply to medical schools for the 2021 cycle.
