Description
The concentration in counseling and applied psychological science is offered both online and via face-to-face courses on the Polytechnic campus. The counseling and applied psychology coursework focuses on the promotion of psychological well-being. Students with a concentration in counseling and applied psychological science will learn basic counseling skills and techniques to complement a variety of social science and health majors, including psychology, public health, interdisciplinary studies, social work and humanities, among many others.echnologies.
Requirements
- Students must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours including 12 hours of upper division courses for this concentration.
- All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” (2.00) or higher.
- All listed coures require prerequisite(s): ENG 102, 105 or 108 with C or better; minimum 45 hours.
