Hurricane Fiona
On Monday, September 18, 2022, Hurricane Fiona swept over Puerto Rico, bringing devastating winds and heavy rain, knocking out power to the entire island.
Hundreds have been evacuated and moved to shelters on higher ground.
Public transportation, airports and seaports have been greatly impacted and the country's supply chain that delivers critical resources has been disrupted.
You can help!
If you'd like to help the citizens of Puerto Rico, Arizona State University's Plena Research Lab has collaborated with colleagues in the U.S. and Puerto Rico to create a list of trusted organizations that are ready to take action.
The list will be updated as new information is available.
