How to earn credit for your internship

Offered programs

IDS 401

In the IDS 401 Experience, you will arrange, plan and execute your own learning project. No matter which option you choose, your experience will integrate both of your chosen interdisciplinary academic concentrations in a meaningful way.

CISA 484

You can earn anywhere from 1-9 hours of elective credit for one specific internship experience, and up to 12 hours of elective credit for internship experiences, by enrolling in and completing some academic assignments while working at an approved internship site. Course assignments will include journal reflections that relate course work to your experience, and the number of credits you can earn depends on the number of hours spent at an approved internship site.

CAP 484

CAP 484 is required for students in the Counseling and Applied Psychology undergraduate degree program.

Pre-health internships

The Pre-Health Internship Program (PHIP) is a university-wide program designed to develop high quality activities that give ASU students the practical experience needed to be competitive in post-graduate degree programs and careers.
