Requirements


 Description
The Latin classical studies program at ASU offers students a wide variety of opportunities to study the language, literature, and culture of the ancient Greeks and Romans.

Requirements

  • Students must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours including 12 of upper division hours for this concentration.
  • All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” (2.00) or higher.
  • A minimum of 6 upper division hours must be taken in courses offered in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Language - 6-8 credit hours

LAT 102 Elementary Latin (4) (Prerequisites: LAT 101)

LAT 201 Intermediate Latin I, HU (4) (Prerequisites: LAT 102)

LAT 202 Intermediate Latin II, HU (4) (Prerequisites: LAT 201)

LAT 421 Roman Literature, HU (3) (Prerequisites: LAT 202)

Electives 12 hours
