The College of Integrative Sciences and Arts is the fourth largest college at Arizona State University, home to students at the Polytechnic campus, Tempe campus, Downtown campus, and Online. Our unique programs in Counseling and Applied Psychology and Project Management rounds out our traditional programs in the sciences and humanities. Our students have an interdisciplinary approach to their education which positions them to be adaptable, fast learners, and critical thinkers as they take on the ever changing world.

Where our students have interned
- A student majoring in Counseling and Psychology (Substance Abuse and Addictions) interned at Lifeline Counseling where they shadowed supervisors and reviewed diagnostic evaluations and treatment development and reviewed DAP notes.
- A student majoring in Applied Biological Sciences (Pre-Vet) interned at Odysea Aquarium where they worked alongside Animal Care Specialists, in a supportive and supervised role, for the care of diverse animal collection.
- A student majoring in Organizational Leadership completed an internship at C. Myers Corporation.
- A student majoring in Applied Biological Sciences interned at the Brain and Spine Center.
- Students majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Music and Communication have interned at Make-a-Wish. Interdisciplinary Studies students have also interned at the Arizona Cardinals Stadium with concentrations in Sales and Marketing and Communications.
- A student majoring in Technical Communication interned at ASU Knowledge Enterprise where they supported the design and delivery of multimedia eLearning assets and conducted user experience testing and research.

Requirements to arrange for an intern
- Be legally incorporated and based in a
physical office building - Offer work that relates to an intern’s degree
program in a meaningful way - Develop a timeline for the internship and
hours required per week.
- Write a clear job description
- Identify a supervisor who will complete
application paperwork, timesheets and
evaluation - Decide on intern compensation and/or
internship credit-hours (tied to hours
committed over a semester — we can help!)
