Internship offerings

Description:
This internship offered by the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce will involve substantial interaction with Chamber volunteers and key local, state and federal elected officials in public policy and government affairs activities and meetings.

Duties may include
- Supporting the advocacy department with advocacy events
- Providing research and comparison info for local, state and federal legislation
- Providing data to the Chamber about current important business issues and the policy positions about which as maintained by state and US chambers of commerce

Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; weekends may occasionally be necessary.

The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce is offering an unpaid internship opportunity with hands-on experience contributing to articles for the monthly newsletter, Explore Queen Creek magazine and press releases for other local magazines and newspapers.

Duties may include:
- Designing and executing major communication pieces
- Assisting with writing, design, photography and social media.
