Requirements


Description
The nutrition and healthy living concentration will provide a strong knowledge base in nutrition and healthy diet planning.

 This concentration does not meet the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) requirements, and thus does not qualify a student to apply for a Dietetic Internship.

 Requirements

  • Students must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours including 12 of upper division hours for this concentration.
  • All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” (2.00) or higher.

Core 9 Hours

NTR 100 Introductory Nutrition OR NTR 241 Human Nutrition 

NTR 345 Development of Healthy Cuisines 

NTR 450 Nutrition in the Lifecycle OR HSC 355 Eating for Lifelong Health

Upper Division Electives 9 Hours Required
