Landscape Studies
Requirements
Do you have an interest in design, parks, plants, sustainability and urban public places? You'll gain a greater understanding of landscape issues and broaden your knowledge about the world in which we live.
The landscape studies concentration from The Design School is for students who have an interest in landscape architecture but are also pursuing other concentrations. This concentration provides an overview of the topic of landscape architecture and a foundational framework for understanding how shaping the exterior environment can impact life and the environment. The course selection provides greater understanding of landscape architecture concerns that are particularly relevant in related professional disciplines.
Requirements
- Students must complete a minimum of 15 credit hours including 9 of upper division hours for this concentration.
- All courses must be completed with a grade of āCā (2.00) or higher.
- Students must maintain an overall cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher for Landscape Studies courses.
- A minimum 6 upper division hours must be taken in courses offered by the Tempe campus.
- A minimum grade of "C" (2.00) is required in all courses for the concentration.
