Requirements


Description
The wildlife management concentration is designed for students interested in biology, conservation, sustainability and management of wildlife resources. The concentration provides students with professional credentials to qualify for many positions offered by the state (e.g. Arizona Game and Fish Department) and federal agencies (e.g., US Forest Service, US Geological Survey, US Bureau of Land Management). The concentration will provide students with application-based and hands-on experience in the field and allow them to engage with wildlife professionals. 

Requirements

  • Students must complete a minimum of 22 credit hours including 12 upper division hours for this concentration.
  • At least 9 hours must be upper-division courses offered by the Applied Biological Sciences program and selected with the approval of an advisor.
  • Students are required to complete BIO 181 and BIO 182 OR BIO 281 and BIO 282 prior to enrollment in concentration courses.

ABS 489: Undergraduate Research (3)
