Requirements
Description
The urban planning concentration helps students to understand how communities can utilize alternative transportation, develop housing solutions and forge community partnerships for urban revitalization. Study the issues experienced by urban areas and the planning tools used to tackle those issues.
Students who wish to gain a further understanding of their communities, from the neighborhood to the national level, can benefit from an urban planning concentration. The program provides insights into how neighborhoods are created and the effects the planning of neighborhoods has on its residents.
Requirements
- Students must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours including 12 of upper division hours for this concentration.
- All courses must be completed with a grade of āCā (2.00) or higher.
