Description

In the concentration in psychology, students explore life's most intriguing mysteries. They learn about memory, stress, child development and more from renowned faculty. Through engaging coursework and experiential learning opportunities, students investigate the human experience from a scientific perspective.

Students gain a nuanced grasp of psychological principles and methods, enhancing how they approach individual, collective and societal concerns.

Program requirements

The concentration in psychology consists of completing 22 credit hours of coursework in psychology. Twelve credit hours must be completed at the upper-division level, of which at least six credit hours must be completed in courses offered by The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Department of Psychology. All courses for the minor must be completed with a grade of "C" (2.00 on a 4.00 scale) or better.
