Project Management
Requirements
Get ahead of the competition with a concentration in project management. Many career paths involve managing project deadlines, resources and budgets, including those in engineering, health care, information technology, computing, business, marketing and public service.
In the concentration in project management, students are equipped with foundational skills to plan, execute and lead projects effectively across various fields. Through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application, students learn key concepts such as budgeting, scheduling, risk management and team collaboration. Students enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities and are prepared to be competitive candidates for today's dynamic job market.
Requirements
- Students must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours including 12 upper division hours for this concentration.
- Depending upon a student's undergraduate program of study, prerequisite courses may be needed in order to complete the requirements of this concentration.
- All courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
- PMG 240 is needed as a prerequisite for all 300-level minor courses
- PMG 321 is required for all 400-level minor courses
- Students must have completed a minimum of 56 hours to declare this concentration.
