Description
Are you creative? Do you like working with your hands? Add a concentration in studio art to increase your creative problem-solving and craft skills.
The studio art concentration enables students to pursue their passion for art while also strengthening academic preparation and developing skills that can assist them in their job search and career. Coursework delves into a wide range of techniques and concepts, including printmaking, painting, drawing, photography and sculpture, among others. The flexible curriculum allows students to create a course of study based on their individual interests, concentrating on a select studio area or exploring several.
Requirements
- Students must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours including 9 of upper division hours for this concentration.
- All courses must be completed with a grade of āCā (2.00) or higher.

ART 107: Photography as Experience or ART 108: Digital Literacy for the Arts (CS) or ART 109:
