Description

Every industry needs leaders who serve with an emphasis on the public good. In only five courses, you'll explore the relationship between leadership and the capacity to assume responsibility for one's actions. You'll understand how to act with a sense of integrity while building confidence in your leadership skills.

The concentration in leadership and ethics focuses on understanding the broad transdisciplinary field of leadership and its application to various elements of society and community. It prepares individuals for positions of leadership and responsibility in the university, in student organizations, in their communities, and throughout their careers in business and government.

Requirements

  • Students must complete a minimum of 15 credit hours which includes 12 upper division hours for this concentration.
  • All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” (2.00) or higher.
  • Electives may be chosen from list or may be chosen in consultation with the Leadership and Ethics advisor.
  • ** Some courses may require prerequisites or may be for majors only. Other courses may be substituted with approval from School of Public Affairs.
  • All core courses and the leadership capstone must be taken at Arizona State University. Any course substitutions for the concentration are at the discretion of the School of Public Affairs.

Electives - 6 credit hours
