Requirements
Description
The community health concentration is designed for students who want to create healthy, sustainable communities. Community health focuses on the actions and conditions needed for the health and well-being of individuals, families and communities. Students acquire skills for working with teams in diverse settings to formulate research-based strategies that assist individuals to make healthy and sustainable lifestyle choices.
Requirements
- Students must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours including 9 of upper division hours for this concentration.
- All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” (2.00) or higher.
- A minimum 9 upper division hours must be taken in courses offered by the College of Nursing and Health Innovation.
