Description
Understand the human experience and the important contexts in which we develop. Gain valuable skills that prepare you to work with children, youth and families.

In the family and human development concentration, students learn about the stages of development, from birth to late adulthood, and the important influences of family and society on how we change and grow.

This program provides an exceptional complement to concentrations in psychology, communication and business.

Requirements

  • Students must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours including 12 of upper division hours for this concentration.
  • All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” (2.00) or higher.

FAS 370 Family, Ethnic, and Cultural Diversity, SB & C (3) (Required) (Credit is allowed for only AFR 370 (or AFS 370) or FAS 370)

CDE or FAS Upper Division Elective 9 Hours - more options may be available than listed below, consult your advisor for courses not listed below.
At least one course must be a CDE elective.
