Counseling and Applied Psychological Science
Requirements
Description
The concentration in counseling and applied psychological science is offered on the Polytechnic campus. The counseling and applied psychology coursework focuses on the promotion of psychological well-being. Students with a concentration in counseling and applied psychological science will learn basic counseling skills and techniques to complement a variety of social science and health majors, including psychology, public health, interdisciplinary studies, social work and humanities, among many others.
Requirements
- Students must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours including 12 hours of upper division courses for this concentration.
- All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” (2.00) or higher.
- All listed courses require prerequisite(s): ENG 102, 105 or 108 with C or better; minimum 45 hours.
