Requirements


Description
The concentration in landscape studies is designed for students who have an interest in landscape aesthetics. This concentration provides an overview to the topic of landscape architecture and a foundational framework for understanding how shaping the exterior environment can impact life and the environment. The course selection provides greater understanding of landscape architecture concerns particularly relevant in related professional disciplines.

Requirements

  • Students must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours including 12 of upper division hours for this concentration.
  • All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” (2.00) or higher.
  • Students must maintain an overall cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher for Landscape Studies courses.
  • A minimum 6 upper division hours must be taken in courses offered by the Tempe campus.
  • * These courses require a petition to The Design School; see a Design School advisor for more information.
