Interior Design History
Requirements
Description
The concentration in interior design history is available to students interested in studying design and culture across many time periods. The courses designated for the concentration are part of the professional studies in interior design environments. The coursework introduces theories informing the professions of architecture, decorative arts and interior design while also examining cultures and history from around the globe.
Requirements
- Students must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours including 12 upper division hours for this concentration.
- Students must have an overall GPA of 2.50 or higher and achieve a minimum 2.50 GPA in concentration classes.
- All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” (2.00) or higher.
- To enhance the understanding of the subject matter, the selected courses are sequential in nature and require certain prerequisites. Consequently, students should carefully note the semester in which any of these courses are offered.
