“My degree in science, technology and society matched my interest in advancing technologies and my work as a specialist in the electric industry," said alumna Suzy Phoenix. "I garnered a better understanding of the use of technology and its effects on people.
"Since graduating, I received a promotion and now write procedures for the substations that are fed by Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station. I will be pursuing a master’s degree in technical communication in the near future, which will further enhance my knowledge to face the challenges that persist in the electric industry."
