Making Your Own Family History

Duane Roen holds up a book documenting a family's history

Join Duane Roen, dean of ASU's College of Integrative Sciences and Arts, for this free, public life-writing workshop organized by the Gilbert Historical Museum. Roen will discuss keeping a journal to record and reflect on life and dailly activities as part of leaving more for future generations than the typical names and dates found in public records.

Roen co-founded the Project for Writing and Recording Family History at ASU Polytechnic campus and offers a series of life-writing workshops in the community
