About Young Authors' Studio:

YAS exists to inspire creativity in youth writers, cultivate writing skills and confidence, offer experiences with many forms of writing and honor talents and interests that sometimes go unnoticed in schools.

The online program is run by a small team of writing mentors each spring. These ASU undergraduate and graduate students earn college credit for their work designing curriculum, leading workshops, promoting the program and publishing one issue of the online journal Unscripted.

Visit the Young Authors' Studio website any time to register for workshops, get writing ideas, earn a certificate, or to submit your stories, poems, songs, comics and animations to the program's online journal, Unscripted (submission deadline for the next issue is March 31).
