Words on Wheels: Family History Writing

Words on Wheels
Writing about Family Members, Places and Events

Family History Writing provides an opportunity to develop tools for writing about memorable family members, places or events. Presenter Duane Roen discusses the family experiences that offer rich material for writing and shares strategies for beginning the writing process.

Through a hands-on activity, you will respond in writing to a series of questions designed to generate concrete details about family stories and be invited to share your writing with the group. In turn, the group will be encouraged to offer constructive feedback that will help you further develop your writing.

Bring your laptop; Arizona State University faculty will be on-hand to assist with your writing.

This event is free and open to the public, but pace is limited. Lunch will be provided
