Deadline: Tempe Community Writing Contest, Cover Design Contest

Submissions accepted online Jan. 17 - Feb. 21

Today (Feb. 21) is the deadline to submit an entry to the third annual Tempe Community Writing Contest, which accepts submissions of unpublished poetry, short fiction, and creative non-fiction (memoirs, essays). ASU students enrolled in any on-ground campus are invited to submit.

This is a great opportunity for emerging writers to get published! A college student winner will be selected in EACH genre and their work will be published in the Tempe Writer’s Forum v.3 to be released in April 2017.

There is also a Cover Design component to the contest, for emerging artists. The winner’s work will be used for the cover design on this year’s publication.

All contest winners will be recognized at a celebration at the Tempe Public Library on April 12 and will read from their work. Friends and family are invited to attend!
