Biography

Karen Shively is an instructor for the Writers' Studio in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts. Her research interests include developmental psychology and the relationship between cognitive science and education. She hosts a online Writing to Action workshops for students interested in making an impact in his or her local community.

Mrs. Shively is passionate about her work with at-risk youth to improve confidence in writing and communication.
