The College of Integrative Sciences and Arts at Arizona State University seek creative and entrepreneurial faculty having backgrounds and interests aligned with our faculty who engage in research, clinical and creative activities that support knowledge development, applied practice and involve students in discovery.
These recruitments establish potential part-time hiring pools for temporary and semester appointments.
Faculty Associate announcements of vacancy are posted annually for part-time, non-benefit teaching positions during the academic year including summer, if needed.
Applications are considered for the current year only. Applicants who were not hired are welcome to reapply. Faculty Associates employed in the previous year must reapply to be considered for continued employment each year.

Assistantships provide an excellent opportunity to help finance graduate education, further individual study and contribute to ASU’s research and teaching efforts. In addition to tuition, assistantships provide a stipend, which can vary depending upon the responsibilities of the position. Teaching assistants perform instructional duties such as lecturing, assisting in laboratory classes, grading tests and papers. Research assistants perform part-time research under the direct supervision of faculty.
