Roxanna Francies was chosen as an Emerging Leader by the Western Association for Counselor Education and Supervision and will take part in a leadership workshop while at the WACES fall conference.

Kevin Lau's thesis was accepted for publication in Frontiers: Personality and Social Psychology, with an impact factor=2.089. Lau was awarded the 2019-2020 ASU Graduate College Fellowship and also is a recipient of the ASU GPSA Outstanding Research Award.

Roberto Renteria was selected for the NIH Latino Mental Health Research Training Program to address Latinx mental health disparities. Renteria also was awarded the Spring 2019 ASU Graduate College Fellowship and presented three research posters at APA 2019.

Marlee Seymour was recognized as the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts Outstanding Graduate Student for Fall 2018 commencement.

Chun Tao was awarded the 2018 APA Student Travel Award to attend the 2018 APA convention in San Francisco; the award is supported by the Ungerleider/Zimbardo Travel Scholarships of the American Psychological Foundation. Tao received a $2,000 dissertation grant from the ASU GPSA (Graduate and Professional Student Association).
