Science and technology shape every facet of modern human life, but all too frequently, underlying histories and ideas go unexamined. The minor program in the history of science, ideas and innovation helps students understand how society reached this point (and helps them reflect on what the future might hold) by providing a foundation in the social and intellectual issues central to understanding the intertwined histories of science, technology and ideas.
