Requirements


Description
The homeland security concentration will provide students with the skills and credentials necessary to prepare them to enter fields specializing in homeland security. Students will receive extended education in topics such as domestic and international terrorism, cyber terrorism and advanced crime courses.

Requirements

  • Students must complete a minimum of 21 credit hours including 12 of upper division hours for this concentration.
  • All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” (2.00) or higher.
  • Except for CRJ 201 and CRJ 419, a course may not be used to fulfill requirements in both the Homeland Security and Security Studies BIS concentration areas.
