Description
Through the technical communication concentration, students learn how to produce, design and manage information, using both traditional and developing technologies.

Requirements

  • Students must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours of upper division courses for this concentration.
  • All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” (2.00) or higher.
  • All listed coures require prerequisite(s): ENG 102, 105 or 108 with C or better; minimum 45 hours.

TWC 301 General Principles of Multimedia Writing, L (3) 

TWC 401 Principles of Technical Communication, L (3) (Credit is allowed for only TWC 401 or TWC 501)

Options 3 Hours
Choose one course from the following:

TWC 411 Principles of Visual Communication, L (3) (Credit is allowed for only TWC 411 or TWC 511)

TWC 421 Principles of Writing with Technology, L (3) (Credit is allowed for only TWC 421 or TWC 521)

TWC 431 Principles of Technical Editing, L (3) (Credit is allowed for only TWC 431 or TWC 531)
